Room was clean! Cleaner than any other rooms we've been in for this price point. For the first time ever, I was not afraid of getting bed bugs and didn't feel the need to peel back the covers to double check every crevice before laying my head down. Breakfast was ok. There were sausages, some egg frittatas, french toast, yogurt, you can make your own waffle-which was nice, milk, juices, coffees, bagels, toast, oatmeal, etc. We enjoyed the pool even though it was cold. We were told the water was like 80's but it was actually more like 70. Safe location. Lots of places around where you could get food. Parking was ok..it was facing the main street, but was lit and relatively safe. Staff was nice. If we ever came back around this area, we'd definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The Asst Manager Pam, The Front desk clerk Kim, and Ellie who was the hotel greater where the best, friendly, courteous and pleasant representation of the hotel. The cleanliness was great. The beds were great also. Unfortunately we did not wake up in time for breakfast. 😒We will always be staying at this hotel when we are in Wausau, WI. My daughter and I give this Country Inn &Suites a 10 ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️rating. Thank you so much for having these wonderful employees work at your beautiful hotel.

Very nice facility. Desk clerk had a queue when I arrived but nothing too bad. Didn't wait long to check in, in spite of a situation involving the couple checking in before me. He apologized for the wait, but I thought he handled everything very professionally. General Manager was there Saturday morning handling breakfast as well as other duties and was very pleasant when I checked out. Facilities looked very clean.

Breakfast selection good, glad Raisin Bran, scrambled eggs and bananas provided. Could have used more of a fruit selection. There are 2 breakfast rooms. TVs were too loud and both had cartoons on on Sunday. How about having one room with cartoons and the other have the TV off? I, for one, enjoy a quiet breakfast.

Sam came up to our room to help us find the wanted channel on the room's TV, and the breakfast hostess, Jeri, was exceptionally kind and friendly.
